About the Presenters

Dr. Nathan BryanNathan S. Bryan, PhD

Dr. Bryan is a recognized world authority in nitric oxide research. He is credited with a multitude of significant discoveries in nitric oxide function and metabolism, and has published extensively in peer-reviewed scientific journals. He lectures frequently on nitric oxide, and sits on the Board of Directors of the Nitric Oxide Society. Dr. Bryan earned his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin and his Doctoral degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport, where he was the recipient of the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Research. He continued his postdoctoral research as a Kirschstein Fellow at Boston University School of Medicine in the Whitaker Cardiovascular Institute. From there, he continued in academia as a member of faculty in several Texas universities. When not conducting critical research or making significant discoveries for N-O, you can find him at Baylor College of Medicine in the Department of Molecular and Human Genetics where he is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor.
 

Mike DarcyMike Darcy

Mike Darcy is president of M.A.R.S. Bio-Med Processes and designer of the LibertyBOSS Amalgam Separator. A strong supporter of the IABDM and an environmentalist, Mike has spent the last ten years improving ways to capture and contain mercury from dental wastewater. He has studied mercury in its many forms from the oceans and rivers back to the dental chair. This journey has introduced him to new technologies and as the science of mercury detection improved, more information came to light showing the truly insidious nature of this toxic substance. He has lectured to State Dental Associations about the effects of mercury on the environment and the human population in general.

Dr. Thomas LevyThomas Levy, MD, JD

Dr. Levy is a board certified cardiologist and has written seven books on health-related issues. Most of his work has centered on how to restore and maintain good health in the face of the many different forms of toxicity that all of us face, typically on a daily basis. He no longer has a clinical practice of medicine and cardiology but limits himself to research, writing, and speaking.
 

Dr. Felix LiaoFelix Liao, DDS

Dr. Liao has a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Case University of Dental Medicine and is a Holistic Mouth Doctor focusing on the dental contributions to medical symptoms and natural wellness. He blends leading edge technology with old-fashioned TLC for children and adults at Whole Health Dental Center in Falls Church, Virginia. He is the author of Six-Foot Tiger, Three-Foot Cage, connecting mouth structure with total health and showing how an impaired mouth is the start of a domino effect of patients’ persistent, escalating, and costly symptoms. His Holistic Mouth Solutions can effectively redevelop “ three-foot cages” by combining innovative Whole Health approaches with stem-cell-activating oral appliances to produce unexpected and even life-changing improvements.
 

Dr. Victor Marcial-VegaVictor A. Marcial-Vega, MD

Dr. Marcial-Vega graduated from the University of Puerto Rico Medical School in 1984. He completed his internship and residency in radiation oncology in 1988 at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. He has taught at the Washington University School of Medicine and the University of Miami School of Medicine. In 1999, he testified before the Committee on Government Reform about the use of intravenous chelation EDTA therapy in the management and cure of cardiovascular diseases, cancer and other illnesses. He contributed a chapter to The Definitive Guide to Cancer by Goldberg, Cowden and Diamond, a textbook on the use of nutritional, alternative and complementary medicines in the management and healing of cancer and other diseases. In 2014 he received his certification from the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine and presently dedicates his time to the research and implementation of Integrative Medicine for the management of all diseases in adults and children.
 

Marjan S. Seywerd, DDS

Dr. Seywerd is a certified biological dentist and naturopathic physician who has been in both private and partnered practice since earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS, in 1978. She has taught in the Dalhousie School of Medicine and Department of Prosthodontics, as well as through the Institute for Natural Dentistry, the Institute for Nutritional Dentistry, and the Institute for Systemic Dentistry. She has also taught at past meetings of both the IAOMT and IABDM.
 

Dr. John Parks TrowbridgeJohn Parks Trowbridge, MD, FACAM

Dr. Trowbridge has practiced Integrative Medicine in Houston, Texas
since 1978 and is considered one of the top experts on how to solve puzzling, critical, debilitating health problems. His work has been recognized with a Distinguished Lifetime Achievement Award and he is listed in over five dozen volumes of Who’s Who. He is the bestselling author of The Yeast Syndrome and an inspirational speaker worldwide on innovative medical treatments. Committed to advancing the incorporation of safe and effective approaches into the standard of care, he has served as an officer or director in professional organizations during his entire medical career, and his occasional articles in the Townsend Letter provoke discussion and scrutiny of the failings of “process-based” assessment and treatment and the prospect of a future embracing “product-based” real results for patients.
 

Dr. James WeissJames Weiss, MD

Dr. Weiss is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He received his medical degree from Chicago Medical School and completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at New York University Medical Center’s Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine. He then served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in both the Departments of Physical Medicine at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine and Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Weiss has extensive experience diagnosing and treating spinal and musculoskeletal disorders. His non-surgical approach includes physical therapy, nutritional management, all spinal levels epidural steroid injections, facet injections and stem cell injections and alternative approaches. He also performs advanced diagnostics including lumbar discograms and EMGs. He has a special interest in a holistic approach to the treatment and management of spinal and musculoskeletal disorders.
 

Dr. Louisa WilliamsLouisa Williams, MS, DC, ND

Dr. Williams specializes in identifying and clearing dental, tonsil, sinus, and other focal infections through neural therapy and auriculotherapy, as well as pre- and post- treatment of dental cavitation surgery.Other areas of specialization include teaching patients the benefits of a nutrient-dense diet, identifying one’s primary food allergy (-ies), nutritional supplementation, diagnosis and supportive craniosacral therapy for dental malocclusions, the detoxification of mercury amalgam fillings and heavy metal crowns, and educating patients about removing personal care and cleaning products containing toxic petroleum chemicals. Dr. Williams co-developed Neural Kinesiology (now ART), originated her current energetic testing method, Matrix Reflex Testing (MRT), and has authored 20 teaching manuals and the book Radical Medicine.

Dr. Eric ZaremskiEric Zaremski, DDS, OFM, FACE

Dr. Zaremski is a general dentist practicing in Marin County using minimally invasive techniques. He has sponsored and mentored many community dental days both in California and Belize, where hundreds of children and adults have been treated without cost. He teaches other dentists and their teams how to implement ozone dental therapy in their own offices and has published two articles on using ozone to help heal disease. He has coauthored a book on laser effects in dentistry and speaks globally on the health benefits of ozone therapy and ozonated oils.
