Arlene Messer, DDS
Dr. Arlene Messer utilizes the most current technology available to modern dentistry, and is always looking for techniques that are more efficient and offer greater comfort to her patients. To accomplish this end, she has continued her dental education at various universities throughout the country and studied with some of the most highly respected dental practitioners.
She has studied with the well-known and recognized Dr. Herbert Schilder at Boston University to further develop her dental expertise in the field of endodontic therapy (root canal treatment). Additionally, Dr. Messer completed a one-year externship in the surgical placement and restoration of dental implants at the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine. She also is certified in oral conscious sedation, Invisalign (clear braces), Six-Month Braces and Lumineers.
Over the past 10 years, Dr. Messer has been affiliated with the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI), the world’s premier postgraduate teaching center. She is recognized as an LVI Fellow—a distinction awarded to those who have completed the LVI Core Curriculum in advanced aesthetics and neuromuscular science. With this advanced education, Dr. Messer can identify and treat TMJ disorders, and head and neck pain.
Dr. Messer is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, the New York State Dental Society, American Academy of Orofacial Pain (AAOP), Holistic Dental Association, Mercury-Free Dentists and IAOMT (International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology).
