I grew up in southwest Missouri and currently live in St. Louis, MO. I am an adjunct faculty member at A.T. Still University- Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health. I am one of the few RDHs employed at this location, and I am on the clinic floor with the 3rd and 4th year dental students. We see a lot of periodontal disease seeing as the patient population is fed through Affinia Healthcare. I have training in myofunctional therapy, but not currently practicing as a therapist. I am very involved with the Missouri Dental Hygienist’s Association, and serving a 2 year term as the President. I plan on starting my Master’s degree later this year because I see myself in education long term. I would love to bring myofunctional therapy and biological dentistry to dental and dental hygiene students.
