Course Description:
The Certified Biological Nutritional Dental Professional Certification is an advanced continuing education program designed to deepen the dental professional’s understanding of nutrition and its impact on oral and systemic health. Building on the IABDM Biological 101 Certification, this course provides practical, science-based knowledge to help clinicians confidently guide patients in nutrition, digestion, and supplementation.
Participants will explore key concepts including digestive physiology, nutrient absorption, detoxification pathways, mitochondrial function, and the role of vitamins, minerals, and enzymes in maintaining gum, bone, and overall health. The course also examines the effects of genetics, toxins, medications, and metabolic conditions on nutritional status.
Through the review of multiple dietary approaches, common digestive disorders, and targeted supplementation strategies, attendees will learn how to assess patient needs and develop personalized nutrition plans. Emphasis is placed on real-world application, including identifying deficiencies, interpreting food labels, and selecting appropriate dietary and supplement interventions.
Upon completion, participants will earn 13 CE credits, receive an engraved plaque, and be awarded the Certified Biological Nutritional Dental Professional designation.
