Hi! I’m Dr. Bernice Teplitsky,. You can call me Dr. T. I practice dentistry a bit differently than most dentists. Research shows that dental problems can lead to other medical problems. As a holistic dentist, I care about your whole health – not just your oral health.
Right after graduating dental school, I discovered holistic dentistry and started visiting my dental colleagues all over the country, learning how they practice holistic/biological/nutritional/integrative dentistry. I saw how they were able to treat patients with chronic diseases by using nutrition, biocompatible dental materials and removing toxins from the mouth. I was hooked. My goal became to make all my patients healthier through superior dental care.
We provide an entertaining, and educational blog, newsletter, host events, and give lectures about dentistry to help people understand the importance of oral health. Whether or not you’re a patient, you’re welcome to browse the site and learn more about holistic dentistry and the healing community full of resources that we provide.
I’m a member of the following dental organizations:
International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology
Academy of General Dentistry
Holistic Dental Association *(President Elect)
American Dental Association
Chicago Dental Society
Illinois State Dental Society
I’m also fluent in Spanish and Russian.

Disclaimer:
Being listed in our directory does NOT guarantee in any way that the practitioner follows all that our Standards of Practice advise. For no two dentists practice exactly the same way. This doesn’t mean that the care you receive from one will be better or worse than the care you receive from another, just different.
If you have special needs - for instance, a fragrance-free environment - we encourage you to ask questions before visiting any office.
