Dr. Punjani is a holistic and integrative dentist providing care to patients in the Metro Atlanta Area. She provides exceptional comprehensive dental care for children and adults, airway dentistry, and biological dental services.
After completing her undergraduate studies at University of Florida, Dr. Punjani went on to pursue her training in dental medicine at Midwestern University in Chicago, IL. She pursued further work in Hartford, CT where she provided essential dental care to the underserved community. She then moved to Atlanta where she began her journey in Holistic Dentistry and became certified in the Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique by the International Association of Oral Medicine and Toxicology.
Dr. Punjani’s eyes were opened to the world of holistic medicine and dentistry with her own personal journey overcoming a debilitating health issue. She sought out various doctors and specialists, and underwent multiple tests, but only achieved a sense of health and balance after pursuing more natural, intergrative and lifestyle based treatments and practices. She is highly motivated to make sure no patient feels helpless or hopeless as they embark their own journey of health and wellness.
After the birth of her first daughter, she began to pursue a higher understanding of airway dentistry in order to understand her daughter’s own challenges with tongue tie and jaw development. In her training, she quickly realized the importance of practicing airway dentistry as a holistic dentist as it affects so many aspects of children’s growth and development, learning and behavior, and in adults plays a very important role in sleep apnea, energy and mood.
Patient care comes first. What she’s learned in her years of practice is that by creating a comfortable and safe space for her patients to discuss their dental and overall health concerns, and together create treatment plans that are individually tailored.
