AGENDA
Friday, March 28, 2025 |
8:00 Introduction by our President and Coining Ceremony |
8:30-10:00 Dr. Louisa Williams DC, ND – “Put the Fire Out Quickly!” Clearing Acute Inflammation through the Nine Neurofascial Dental Ganglia. In this course, participants will learn the importance of addressing the neighboring craniofacial ganglia after dental drilling or surgery. This will include teaching the phenomenon of how through ipsilateral axonal transport these structures share any toxic oral overload; the diagnosis of these neurofascial ganglia through locating, or “therapy localizing,” them, using surface anatomy; and the most effective treatments of these “little brains” after dental procedures. The very different points of view of acute treatment by the allopathic (conventional) medical community and the holistic medical/biological dental communities will be contrasted. Additionally, the biochemistry of acute inflammation, the effects of over-stretching the TMJ, and the myotactic reflex rule will also be covered. Finally, there will be a demonstration, and then a brief ten-minute workshop period during this talk, where participants can practice locating and treating a ganglion bilaterally with an isotonic homeopathic remedy.

10:00-10:30 Vendors |
10:30- 12:00 Dr. Nathan Bryan PhD The Integration of Nitric Oxide into Dental Medicine to Improve Systemic Health, Nitric oxide is a critical signaling molecule responsible for regulating blood pressure, neurotransmission and immune function. Loss of nitric oxide production is the earliest event in the onset and progression of cardiovascular disease and many other age-related diseases. The link between oral health and cardiovascular disease is well known. Patients with poor oral hygiene, periodontal disease and gingivitis have increased incidence of cardiovascular disease. Research over the past decade has revealed that oral commensal bacteria are responsible for nitric oxide production. Disruption of oral bacteria through antiseptic mouthwash or overgrowth of pathogenic bacteria leads to a loss of nitric oxide production. This lecture will describe pathways of nitric oxide production, revelations of nitric oxide-producing bacteria, and discussions of how dental medicine professionals can incorporate nitric oxide diagnostics and therapies in their practice. Nathan S Bryan 1. Understand nitric oxide production and signaling in the human body |
12:00-1:00 LUNCH |
1:00-1:30 Vendor Time |
1:30-3:00 Sally Fallon Morell- “The Key to Perfect Dental Health” What causes dental decay and dental deformities (crowded and crooked teeth)? Weston A. Price’s work studied traditional peoples, he found fourteen groups who had perfect dental health: wide dental palates and little or no decay. Traditional diets are discussed, and when abandoned, had devasting results. Objective: Describes Price’s work.

3:00-3:30 Vendor Break |
3:45-5:00 Dr. Leisha Martin, PhD “Why is Toxicology important to Dentistry?” We used mercury for years, but it was toxic, we had composites with BPA, but it was toxic, we suggested fluoride, but it was toxic. Dentists suggested sugar-free drinks to find out the artificial sweeteners were toxic. Discuss general anesthetics and nitrous oxide. |
8:00-8:30 Mike Darcy- What to do is your POTW comes a calling. |
8:30-10:00 Dr. David Sims DDS “To the 5th Power” The neurological aspects and controls of the 5th cranial nerve. Objectives:

10:00-10:30 Vendors |
10:30-12:00 Dr Thomas Levy MD, JD “Curing Atrial Fibrillation: Optimizing Intracellular Magnesium” All diseases and medical conditions are caused by elevations of intracellular calcium, which always elevate oxidative stress inside the cell. This calcium has an inverse relationship to magnesium, and calcium levels normalize the more magnesium can enter the cell. All diseases are variations on what biomolecules are oxidized and where they are located and concentrated. Magnesium deficiency is extremely common, with advanced degrees of deficiency being quite common as well. Blood levels are not reliable indicators of intracellular magnesium deficiency. Because of its relationship to calcium, all diseases are improved with sufficient magnesium intake, and a few diseases can be completely resolved. Low intracellular levels of magnesium, especially in the mitochondria, are difficult to completely reverse to normal in many people. Calcium, magnesium, and potassium ion concentrations and fluxes determine the electrical stability of a cell, which is of great importance in cells with inherent electrical instability, such as neurons and cardiac pacing cells. It will be shown that the prevalence of ectopic heart beats directly relates to how deficient the culprit heart cells are in magnesium. Furthermore, the case will be made that ectopic beats and their associated arrhythmias CANNOT occur if intracellular mitochondrial magnesium levels are completely normal. It will also be shown that magnesium sufficiency is critical in lessening and even eliminating the possibility of sudden cardiac death in patients, especially those with excess circulating levels of COVID or vaccine-related spike protein. A comprehensive protocol for the optimal management of these patients will be included. Objective:

What is Biological Dentistry?
Biological Dentistry is concerned with the whole body effects of all dental materials, techniques and procedures. It unites the best clinical practices and technologies of Western dental medicine with a wide array of practices beyond its horizon. It is fluoride-free, mercury-free and mercury-safe.

IABDM: Connecting Biological Practitioners
The IABDM is a network of dentists, physicians and allied health professionals committed to caring for the whole person – body, mind, spirit and mouth. We are dedicated to advancing excellence in the art and science of biological dentistry.
