This workshop focuses on the biological assessment and management of residual infections associated with root canal–treated teeth and extraction sites. Emphasis is placed on the identification of sclerotic and hypodense jawbone pathologies using 3D CBCT imaging and the application of the ARENA-Protocol®. Participants will gain an integrated understanding of diagnostic imaging, biological principles, and guided open wound healing concepts to improve oral–systemic health outcomes.
- Recognize residual infections related to root canal–treated teeth, extraction sites, and the development of Covered Socket Residuum (CSR).
- Understand sclerotic and hypodense jawbone pathologies using 3D CBCT visualization from a biological dentistry perspective.
- Apply the ARENA-Protocol® and principles of Guided Open Wound Healing to support physiological bone regeneration and improve oral–systemic health outcomes.
