This presentation will explain iridology and how it can be used to gather more information about patents and their systemic health. It will also discuss herbal and lifestyle recommendations to support organs, tissues, and various weaknesses throughout the body and ways to improve overall health. Iridology is another diagnostic tool we can use as biological dental professionals. It allows us to get a baseline of our patients’ overall health and determine best practices based on their individual needs. Iridology is a great diagnostic tool that can help ensure that we, as dental professionals, are not adding additional burdens to our patients’ bodies.
About our Speaker:
Amanda Kirwin, BCDA is a certified biological dental assistant and iridologist. She has been in the dental field for fourteen years and became a biological dental assistant in 2021. Amanda completed her Iridology training at Trinity School of Natural Health in June 2023. She is a member of the International Iridology Practitioner Association and IABDM. Amanda began her career as a chairside dental assistant working in a multi-specialty practice. She was then cross-trained as an administrator, where she learned all the ins and outs of a dental practice. Her eagerness to learn and strong leadership skills propelled her into managing the dental assistant department and assisting with operations for the largest DSO in RI/CT. In 2018 Last Green Valley Dental Consulting and Mentoring was born. In hopes of bringing greener pastures to patients and dental professionals. Samantha and Amanda have high hopes for dentistry and want to preserve the private practice feel and standard for dentistry. After receiving her biological certification in 2021 through the IABDM Last Green Valley Dental Consulting and Mentoring increased their standards as to what acceptable dental treatment looks like and how it is delivered.
