Jesal A.Patel DDS

I consider myself an Ohioan. I grew up in Toledo, Ohio, attended Miami University for microbiology in Oxford, Ohio then was honored to have an early acceptance to The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. After my graduation from the dental program in 1998, I completed a Dental General Practice Residency at The Medical College of Ohio back in my hometown of Toledo. My experience at the residency program allowed me to treat many different patient populations and learn in a medical environment. I was privileged to treat children and adult patients in a hospital setting with head and neck cancers, people with a history of trauma, and those undergoing organ transplants. The unique program also allowed me to treat our honorable veterans at the VA clinic, and those with special needs at the MRDD Center of Toledo. My eagerness to learn and serve as a dental resident at The Medical College of Ohio allowed me to co-receive The Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery Outstanding Resident Award. That year I was also the recipient of the Toledo Dental Society Spring Clinician Award.

In 1999, my husband and I decided to make Cincinnati our new hometown. We started practicing dentistry in our own private offices  As“Ohioans” we chose to build, equip, and decorate our offices using all local companies, craftsman, and suppliers. It is extremely important to us to support our local people and businesses. We strive to serve our patients with the best quality care we can provide. We are always eager to meet the wonderful people in the area and customize our care based on their personal needs. We believe every person is unique and should have customized care based on their health concerns and their goals.. We create a personal relationship with each patient to establish trust and cater to the specific needs of each person and situation.

I continue to learn and follow the motto of my residency program, Enter to Learn, Go Forth to Serve. Since 1998 I have been an active member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Cincinnati Dental Association, Keely Dental Association(Butler County), and joined Spear Dental Club, Seattle Study Club, Women in Dentistry, Mommy Dentist in Business, and various other local dental study groups. I was honored to be named a Top Dentist in Cincinnati by my colleagues.

 I enjoy spending time with my family and friends while living a healthy lifestyle by doing various local runs for charity, visiting local farmers markets, and supporting our professional and non-professional sports teams. Our lives and hearts are here in our state. O-H-I-O! Go Bucks!
