If you’re new to biological dentistry—or want a strong, evidence-based refresher—this full-day Thursday track provides the essential foundation for practicing biological dentistry safely, intentionally, and correctly.
Course Description

Dr. Dawn Ewing, PhD, Doctor of Integrative Medicine and Executive Director of the International Academy of Biological Dentistry & Medicine (IABDM), leads Biological Dentistry 101 and the PROTECT Protocol portion of this course. A former dental hygienist and emergency medical paramedic, Dr. Dawn is a nationally recognized educator on the mouth–body connection and the author of Let the Tooth Be Known. Her work emphasizes evidence-based biological care that supports systemic health.

Amanda Kirwin, BCDA, brings deep clinical and compliance expertise to the Respiratory Program portion of the workshop. With a strong background in dental assisting and OSHA standards, Amanda helps teams implement the PROTECT protocol and Respiratory Protection Programs effectively and confidently—covering both regulatory requirements and hands-on respirator fit testing.
